           As I write this to you today, my heart swells with a mixture of gratitude and nostalgia. For the past eight years, our gym has been more than just a place to work out; it has been a community, a sanctuary, and a home away from home.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           Together, we have sweat, pushed boundaries, and achieved goals we once thought impossible. We've shared triumphs and setbacks, laughter and tears. But through it all, we've stood united, bonded by our dedication to health, wellness, and personal growth.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           I want to travel with my family around Australia in our caravan while we can.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           Make memories that will last a lifetime and ones hopefully my girls will remember and tell their kids about one day.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           In order to do this and make it happen I have made the decision to sell Galvanized Fitness and it has not been a decision taken lightly, but one made with careful consideration and a deep sense of gratitude for the memories we've created together.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           I am happy to announce that Galvanized Fitness will now be owned by my friend and amazing coach Tiffany Morrison as of the 1st of July.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           Tiff has been a coach for 10 years and a coach and member of Galvanized for the past 5 years, so the gym will be left in very capable hands. She also shares a passion for fitness like me and love for our amazing community we’ve built.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           This next step has been in the process for the past few months to ensure a smooth and seamless transition of ownership with no disruptive impact to our members. All current systems and memberships will remain as is and as a member you don’t need to action anything.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you—for your unwavering support, your commitment to bettering yourselves, and your camaraderie. You have made this journey truly remarkable, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           Thank you for eight incredible years of sweat, smiles, and solidarity. May your fitness journeys continue to inspire and uplift under the guidance of Tiffany.

          Recent Covid-19 restrictions have been relaxed and we are now offering 10 person bootcamps at the Majura Playfields. At this stage we will be running one class per day at 6.30 in the morning Monday - Friday. Places are limited to 10 clients only and you must book into the session using the app. Social distancing will apply during the sessions and any equipment used will need to be cleaned by the person that used it. Hand wipes and sanitiser will be available.

If the live classes at 5.30pm don't work you will be able to watch all workouts through our private youtube channel.

           Christmas is fast upon us and this year Galvanized Fitness will run our last session on the 22th of December and will re-open on the 6th of January. All Bronze, Silver and Gold memberships will be suspended over this time. On our return back the gym will operate under reduced hours with 1 morning class and 1 evening class each day for the first two weeks.

         This year Galvanized Fitness entered three teams in THE BAY GAMES down in Jervis Bay. It was a fantastic weekend and all teams performed amazingly.

         Vinyasa Flow yoga which combines physical movement with the breath in a sequence of poses which flow on from one another. 
         
                  &#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
                    
          Class length is 60 minutes. 
         
                  &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
                    
          Typically a class consists of the below sequence
          
                    &#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      
                      
           5 minutes of warm up poses focussing on movements of the spine
          
                    &#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      
                      
           10-15 minutes of ‘energetic’ poses designed to strengthen, maybe raise a sweat but not lose control of the breath, and stretch dynamically
          
                    &#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      
                      
           10-15 minutes of standing and balancing poses, again with a strengthening focus but increasing the stretching and lengthening of muscles
          
                    &#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      
                      
           10 minutes of seated or reclined poses working on stretching and flexibility
          
                    &#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      
                      
           5-10 minutes of relaxation, also known as savasana.
          
                    &#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      
                      
           We demonstrate poses but also walk around and offer verbal corrections/advice. We don’t usually do hands-on corrections but if needed will always ask people first. We tend to verbally cue the majority of the class as this helps people follow the movements without second guessing themselves and really get into the flow of movements. 
          
                    &#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      
                      
           This is where the mental benefits kick in.

  Just give things a go, I had never even entertained the idea of doing bootcamp before, it sounded too scary. It's has become my favourite way to exercise and something I've stuck to the longest out of everything I've tried over the years.

  Absolutely! I love coming to bootcamp. Felicity is so supportive, knows her stuff and keeps it interesting changing up the sessions all the time. It's also a great group of people who have a good time together working out - and chatting too much sometimes &amp;#55357;&amp;#56898; and the Bakery after a Saturday session is an added bonus!

            5. Have you ever competed in this event before?
          
                      
                      &#xD;
      &lt;/b&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
                      
                      
          This is the first time the event was run and also the first time I have entered any kind of running event. I am very interested in alpine trail running because it brings together my love of running and passion for the mountains. I had never run 12k before and had a few setbacks preparing for the event which was really disappointing. However, I kept on going and still went ahead confident that I was the best I could be. Although the run was challenging at times, I enjoyed every single moment. The beauty of the Kosciuszko National Park and my determination to finish really kept me going. To finish something I did not think I could do is such an amazing feeling. The challenge is really with yourself and to come out on top makes you feel that anything is possible if you work for it. This is why I enjoy fitness so much.

          I think that good fitness and a heathly lifestyle is about having a plan and a deep personal commitment. I think everyone struggles at times to stay on track but if there is consistency and determination the occasional transgression makes no real difference in the end.           A friend signed my husband and I up to a summer bootcamp in town and we caught the fitness bug. We were looking for something regular and after hours. We were also looking for something professional and challenging.

          We have been going regularly for nearly two years! It is hard to believe but I do not think we have ever done the same session twice!     While I have never been a sporty person I highly recommend taking up a fitness program. The benefits are not just physical as it also improves your mental state.

      9. Would you recommend people to join GF, and why?

    People have different motivational reasons for submitting themselves to boot camp "torture". Felicity provides the motivation to our very diverse group with her skill of tapping into each persons individual aspirational needs. The great comradery of the group is a reflection of Felicity's facilitation skills.

      1. How did you hear about Galvanized Fitness?

    To be honest I heard about Galvanized fitness by meeting Felicity at the mother’s day lunch at Country Bumpkins.

        2. What made you start training with Galvanized Fitness?

      I love exercise and love people. Living so far out of town it’s a trek to get the kids to the gym so when i heard there was a boot camp close to home after hours i thought i would give it a go.

      &lt;b&gt;&#xD;

      I Just competed at the Australian titles and Melbourne royal show at the end of September in Showjumping. I place in one of my events at the Aus titles which was a massive goal for me and my horse. We travelled down to Werribee for a 4 days of competition and came home for a week to work then went back to Melbourne royal for a week. I have several shows coming up to round out the end of the year but im most excited about doing Tough Mudder with the galvanised group mid November.

      The hardest thing is starting, once you get going the swing of it and see the benefits its easy to keep going.

        9. Would you recommend people to join Galvanized Fitness and why?

      Absolutely!!!! I have never met such a nice group of people. Sometimes its a bit daunting going into a new group of people but this group is great and Felicity is by far one of the best trainers i have met! I love the variety of the sessions. You never get bored with the same routine and always work hard!

      8. What advise would you recommend to any one else out there about fitness and a healthy life style?

    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    
                    
                    
    No matter where you are in life you just need to get off the couch and start - getting started is the hardest and scariest part but the benefits and results you will achieve is the most rewarding part. We are always telling our kids its about balance and to keep ourselves fit and healthy by staying active and the best role models for that is us as parents, so as they get older they will continue to lead healthy lifestyles. I have 3 kids who are all at school and they all play sport along with other after school activities - I work full time, play sport twice a week, get to boot camp twice a week and at the moment try to fit in a run or two each week. We are a very busy family, however the key is not to loose sight of yourself and your own goals there is always time to fit some type of exercise into your schedule.

    Yes I would, the sessions are hard but rewarding. I have come a long way since joining in February and I like that no session is the same which keeps it interesting and keeps my body from getting used to the same exercise each week. It has also been a great way to meet new people and of course going to the Bakery afterwards on Saturdays is a great incentive!!!!
